I Made This..Pete-weyman-illustrations

I started illustrating after graduating from Cornwall College of Futher Education back in 1984 and went straight into Self Employment, but working through an Artists Studio; as was called then 'Blue Chip Illustration', set in a Wiltshire market town. A studio full of 13 Illustrators all of differing skills and talent. It was a heady mixture and a thrill to be working in the presence of such emerging talent.

But as with all things in life, things change, people move on and I moved to the south coast (1993) and found myself after some months working as an 'Employee', (a very strange feeling), for a Technical Publication company. I worked with them for many years and they eventually settled in Southampton. With the passing years, faces and people change and I moved on.

When, as luck would happen, some freelance work came a knocking on my door and it was rude to refuse, so, I made the decision to go back to my old roots and be a freelance/contractor illustrator.

Hence where I am now and this new web site, which I hope will grow with all my efforts.
